Feedback is really important in helping people to reach their goal. This might take the form of redirecting someone, giving alternatives ways to address a problem, encouraging positive steps or reinforcing/confirming key ideas.

Our Definition of Feedback for AIF is an: Evaluative response from a teacher, mentor of knowledgeable 'other' regarding the process, product and/or the direction of the learning.
Purpose:
- Gain insight into a product/prototype/performance knowledge or skill from a target audience- how well is your learning progressing?
- Stimulate self-evaluation based on the feedback others have provided on your learning processes and/or product
- Inform decision making about what to do next
Could Include:
- Mentor's evaluation of student's product/prototype - suggest strategies to improve
- Family's insight into proposed plans
- Survey responses from a target audience about student performance/product/prototypes
- Discussion with expert surrounding conflicting information
- Evaluative discussion with teacher about student's draft
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Personal Data
- Data from smart watches/other in-animate devices- this is a strategy
- A conversation aimed at finding information for your learning intention- this is a perspective
