What do I need to do?
Over the course of your AIF you are required to REFLECT on the progress of your learning. To demonstrate your progress, you will be periodically REFLECTING on meaningful feedback that you have received about you work.
1. Your AIF teacher will organise one compulsory CHECK-IN. At this CHECK-IN you should have gained feedback about your learning/plans so far. This initial feedback could be from family, friends, experts within your community etc. This feedback is what we will be discussing at the CHECK-IN.
2.After the CHECK-IN, you will gather evidence of your REFLECTION by taking excerpts from the recorded discussion, using excerpts of a transcript, or producing a summary of your reflection to contribute towards the task. This will be submitted for drafting/comment from your teacher. (This formative task will be graded to form part of your mid-semester grade)
3. You MUST then continue to seek other sources feedback as you continue your research. You may decide to complete short independent REFLECTIONS on FEEDBACK to contribute towards the task. (Remember that at an A grade, you will be independently looking for relevant sources of FEEDBACK and show that this has been achieved by commenting on these multiple sources in your REFLECTIONS).
4. You may choose to arrange 1-2 more CHECK-INS with your AIF teacher to help you produce REFLECTION.
5.Create a compilation of these REFLECTIONS on multiple sources and submit this audio/word/combination of files for assessment.
