Research Ethics
Ethics are moral principles that govern a person's behaviour or the conducting of an activity.
There are three aims in research ethics:
1. To protect human participants
2. To ensure that research is conducted in a way that serves interests of individuals, groups and/or society as a whole.
3. To examine specific research activities and projects for their soundness, looking at issues such as safety, confidentiality and informed consent.
